Surf Ride Surf Camps are offering the most exciting summer camps for ages 8+! Surf Ride possess an exclusive permit at the North Jetty near the Oceanside Harbor, which just happens to be the best beach in North County to learn how to surf.
In addition to giving your child a solid foundation for surfing, our instructors have important water safety discussions, encourage kids to respect the ocean as well as one another, and teach important water-etiquette that will help them adapt to the surfing lifestyle.
Our head instructor has 5+ years of surf camp experience, and is also an avid surfer, so you can rest assured that your child will be in good hands. Surf Ride's Surf Camp will encourage kids to develop self-confidence in a fun and safe environment (instructor to student ratio is 5:1), and will give them an experience they will never forget!

What kind of safety precautions do the surf instructors take?
On Monday mornings, our head instructor goes over camp rules & water safety tips, then campers are divided into groups based on their surfing ability. Can we request to have our kids in the same group?
While surfing in the ocean all the kids will be grouped according to individual skill lever for safety purposes. However on the beach all the kids will be able to hangout together and play fun beach games with one another regardless of skill level or surf grouping.
What happens on the last day of camp?
Every Friday our kids are invited to participate in a surf contest! Parents are invited to attend and watch how much their kids have grown throughout the week! All participants will receive a camp prize at the end of Friday.
Will you ever cancel camp if there aren’t enough kids?
Yes, every now and then if we do not have enough kids to fill a camp we will cancel the camp and offer a full refund or a discounted session for another week. The min. requirement is 4 kids.
